About my post of TDK
Just so everyone knows, I am waiting at least a week to post anything with details within the movie. I figured one week is enough time for people to get out and see the movie that really wanted to see the movie. After that week, I am going to post some stuff I found interesting from the film that some people may have caught and may be stirring up some rumors and commotion in the film world. This is going to kill me having to wait, but I'll be nice for once.
The Dark Knight Part 2
Lets see... where to begin, where to begin. This years most anticipated film The Dark Knight was released this past weekend. By far one of the biggest opening weekends for a film in years and boy was it worth it. This film was by far the greatest of the year. The movie was absolutely flawless. Christopher Nolan is an absolute genius. His cast, his script, his film definitely delivered. The movie was full of action, suspense and surprises (though many of us already knew the outcome and due to the fact that we all know the storyline) Christopher Nolan's love of the IMAX camera also played well into the film. Since I went and saw it both in IMAX and in theatre, I can honestly see why he loves that camera so much. It added such a stunning view to the aerial shots and parts of the film that really needed that extra size and definition.
As usual, Christian Bale played an absoutely awesome role as the Batman and of course he had that humor and charm we expect from him in this film. Michael Caine did a bang up job as Alfred, Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox continued to deliver the awesome gadgets and projects that we expect in a Batman film. Aaron Eckhart was a great cast for Harvey Dent. He has that look that fits well with a respected political figure. Last but no least, Heath Ledger. His casting as the Joker could not have come any sooner. His willingness to submerse himself into such an intense and psychologically taxing role really shows how talented of an actor he truly is. It is sad that he was unable to see the release of this film and the success it has, he truly gave this movie his all. I got goosebumps everytime I saw him on the screen as the Joker because he truly personified the insane, maniacal mad man of Gotham City.
After seeing this film, I was absolutely speechless. Not because I had nothing to say, but I knew anything that I could possibly say would do the film no justice. It was everything that I hoped for and more. The wait for this film was absolutely worth the job that these men and women did. This movie only got me even more excited for the next installments of the series and I know that the next films could not get here any sooner. The movie progressed the way it should have to follow the storyline and one can only hope that this will continue through the rest of the series. If you see any film this summer, this is the film to go see. It will blow you out of the water. Even if you arent that big of a Batman or comic fan, you will be able to enjoy this movie and all the work put into it.

The Dark Knight Part 1
So I will be going to see the most anticipated movie for 2008, The Dark Knight. Surprisingly I didn't go on opening night to see this film at 12:01 for I hate going to theatres when they are packed. I enjoy having a little bit of space while in the theatre. Tonight I will be seeing it in IMAX strictly for enjoyment and to indulge myself in the thrill of Summer Box Office smashes. My friend Chris and I will be going on monday to see it in theatres for the trailers as well as to watch the film. Since he was unable to obtain a ticket for tonights IMAX showing with me, I will put off my review and comments about the film until Monday. I am curious to see the numbers this movie puts up after tonight for opening weekend. If it doesn't break any records it will most definitely be in the top 5 opening weekends at least. So tonight will be my relax and enjoy the wonderful spectacle we call Summer films and I know for sure this movie will be much more than another Summer Superhero flick.

Fall Gaming Season
This coming fall and holiday season is going to be a huge time for gamers. With E3 fresh in everyone's minds, we all turn to our televisions to watch extensive coverage from the wonderful folks at G4 for the newest news from the gaming world. Just to name a few things to look forward to: Little Big Planet, Resistance 2, Diablo 3, Command and Conquer: Red Alert 3, Gears of War 2, The Force Unleashed and many many more that I will attempt to cover throughout my posts. This is always a wonderful time of the year but it seems this year is topping the charts for gamers all around the world. Hopefully there will be time for real life in the coming months.
